Coating Products that Meet Precise Industry Specs

Depor applies a variety of organic coatings to meet automotive specifications. The most popular coating – the Magni 565 – has more than 50 OEM approvals, meeting specifications from Ford, GM, Fiat Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and many other automotive and non-automotive companies. Used on fasteners, stampings and latching hardware, these chrome-free coatings protect metal from the corrosive effects of heat, humidity, chemicals and bi-metallic contact, improving surface characteristics such as lubricity, conductivity and color. They also pass up to 1,500 hours of salt spray testing.

Depor also applies various non-automotive water-reducible coatings in agricultural, construction and industrial applications. The Magni 599 coating, for example, is best for ACQ Wood in the building and deck industries. These water-based coatings, available in more than 20 colors and sold in major hardware centers, exhibit excellent weatherability and corrosion resistance for treated lumber.
