Industries, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Magni Group, which is a collection of companies that specialize in developing, manufacturing and applying world-class protective coatings for fasteners stampings and other metal components. Magni fastener and stamping coatings are popular in many markets, including the automotive, heavy truck, off-highway, military and building & construction industries.
Magni coatings are available through
"Dip and Spin" applicators such as Depor Industries in Troy, MI and Anti-Friction (located in Rexdale, Ontario, Canada).
SprayTek (located in Ferndale, MI) utilizes Magni coatings on complex, large, or fragile
parts by spray applications.
Magni’s chrome-free finishes have been used by
the automotive industry for over 20 years. The most popular chrome free coating system,
Magni 565, is approved at Ford S439,
GMW3359, GM7114, GMW14100, DaimlerChrysler PS10378, PS10633, and Nissans NESM 4601 and
others (see our specification page for a complete list).
The Magni 594 has been approved
to meet PS-11036 and DBL 9440.40.
The Magni Group recently received a
Prestigious Award from Ford Motor Company with the Magni 565
Coating System. Its implementation on a high volume program
has effectively upgraded the components corrosion performance,
while eliminating hexavalent chrome in the process.
The Magni 565 System has been a popular
cost effective chrome free alternative to chromium plating.
The Magni 565 system has outperformed zinc plating in corrosion
