Dip and Spin Paint Operation

Depor Industries has been one of the leaders for applying organic coatings utilizing the Dip and Spin process. Our investment a few years ago into a new 66,000 square foot facility with the latest technology in processing equipment and paint machines has helped Depor meet today’s challenges of uncompromising quality, quick delivery turnaround, and elimination of foreign material and all at a competitive price.

The Dip and Spin process is a bulk application process that applies coatings in an effective and highly economical manner. Once parts are washed and dried they are placed in a mesh basket and submerged in the coating. After a brief immersion, the basket is removed from the solution and centrifuged to remove excess coating. This spinning process ensures uniform coating thickness.

Depor establishes thickness of the coating by controlling paint viscosity, rpm’s and spin times. Multiple layers of paint may be repeated to meet the different requirements of our customers. Each order is evaluated to determine the best process controls for a particular part configuration.

Finally, the parts are cured. The end result is a durable coating that features bimetallic corrosion protection and consistent frictional characteristics without imposing the risk of hydrogen embrittlement.

We encourage you to give us a call for more information or to set up a plant tour to learn more about the process and see the difference that Depor can make in servicing your metal finishing requirements.
